Brought up in Wellington and of mixed European heritage Kate has always performed, whether through movement or music. Her debut album “Not A Proper Girl” is in her own words probably 20 years overdue. But in this properly packaged up body of work lies a maturity and truth that a 20 something might not have been able to express. The current state of the world has definitely thrown a spanner in some elements of the Not a Proper Girl Tour but will the eloquent, dynamic and irrepressible Kate be able to harness her creative and analytical abilities to turn isolation into achievement.
