A veteran of Rockquest and propelled to a bespoke music course at Sole Music Academy in Christchurch, James has a straight ahead style and a healthy unwillingness to conform. Quite the musical pedigree too, with both parents former members of the Royal New Zealand Air Force Band. So with the impending release of his debut album Tui, will James’ enigmatic style prove to be his secret weapon or his undoing when searching for musical success.
